1. What is Coconut Coir Fiber?

Coconut fiber (coir fiber) is an eco-friendly material found between the hard inner shell and the outer coat of the coconut. After fully mature coconuts are processed, the husks are fed into machines to separate the long bristle fibers – a process often called wet-milling. Coir fiber is:

• Naturally water-resistant and highly durable.
• One of the few natural fibers that is resistant to seawater damage.
• 100% biodegradable and safe for people, pets and plants.

• White coir rope: finer and more flexible, suitable for lighter products and marine applications where buoyancy is required.

Thanks to its buoyant properties, white coir rope is especially effective for long lines in deep water, where it stays afloat instead of sinking.

Coir mats are manufactured from tightly needled and pressed coconut fiber, often combined with natural latex or resin binders. These mats are widely used as:
