What Is Cocopeat?

Cocopeat (coir pith) is a renewable, biodegradable growing medium derived from coconut husks. It offers excellent water retention, aeration, re-wetting ability and serves as a sustainable replacement for peat moss.

Production Process at VinaTap Factory

1. Material Sourcing — Only premium coconuts from Ben Tre province.
2. Crushing & Sieving — Separation of peat, fibers, and chips.
3. Triple Washing & 15-Day Incubation to remove salt, tannins, lignin, sand.
4. High-Temperature Drying at 350–400°C for sterilization.
5. Compression into 650g bricks or 5kg blocks.
6. Packing & Export — Palletized, shrink-wrapped, and loaded for global delivery.
